I was in a bit of a horror movie kick this morning and I thought it'd be a good idea to do make up styled after monsters. So vampires are easy enough and quite popular these days.
This look is REALLY easy to do, too.
Make sure your skin is dry and clean.
Start by using Hard Candy's Sheer Envy Primer all over your face.
Once you have that massaged in apply a moderate layer of a liquid foundation of your choice(I use Loreal Paris TrueMatch Liquid Foundation) and follow with a translucent powder to set your foundation.
Moving on to step two!
Using a light brown eyeshadow; drag the color from the outer corner, along the crease and to the inner corner of your eye. You're going to want that color on pretty thick so you'll need to do that a few times. Use the same light brown along your lower lash line.
Step 3:
Use a dark purple/red/magenta eyeshadow and outline the light brown. Easy way to know if you're doing it right is if the Purple is above the hollow of your eye/on the bottom of your brow bone. Also line your lower lashes with this color. This is going to add depth to your eyes.
Step 4:
Using a black eyeshadow line your upper lashes, lower lashes and waterline.
I like to drag the brush up and make wings on the outer corners of my eyes. If your lashes aren't that long or you want a more dramatic/theatrical look I suggest doing this. I make about 5 wings(1 long in the center and two smaller ones on each side)
Step 5:
Mascara and Highlight.
Firstly; Get some white eyeshadow(I used Hard Candy Peppermint patty) and brush it on your brow bone to highlight the shape of your eyes.
Secondly; Mascara Mascara Mascara. I use two different mascaras to really get a dramatic effect.
Start with Maybelline The Falsies and apply a heavy coat on both upper and lower lashes. Then follow with Avon Jillian Dempsey Professional Mascara on the upper and lower lashes.
Step 6: Lips.
There isn't a picture for this one.
I used Revlon's Just Bitten Lipstain. Since your eye make up is so dramatic you should stick to a nude lipcolor. Otherwise your lips are going to distract from your eyes...
and it might look a bit hooker-ish....
And the final product should look like this!
I made my hair up psuedo-pin up to go with this look
And my obsession with the 50's ^^;
That's all!
love the eye make up! going to try this soon me thinks :) xxxxx
